Chronic Venous Insufficiency occurs when the veins in the legs cannot effectively return blood back to the heart. Venous Ulcers
Venous ulcers are a serious complication of chronic venous disease and most commonly develop near the ankles or lower legs. They occur when prolonged venous pressure damages the skin and surrounding tissue, making wounds slow to heal. Venous ulcers are often painful and difficult to heal. Varicose Veins
Varicose veins are enlarged, twisted veins that develop when vein walls weaken or valves fail, allowing blood to pool in the legs. They most commonly appear in the calves or thighs and may cause leg swelling, heaviness, aching, throbbing or fatigue—especially after extended periods on your feet. Spider Veins
Spider veins are smaller, superficial veins that appear close to the skin’s surface and often resemble fine red, blue or purple web-like patterns.
