His insightful, calm demeanor creates an environment where patients never feel rushed, and are given ample time for thorough evaluations, thoughtful conversations and meaningful education about their care.

In 2014, Dr. Abdula co-founded Oracle Heart & Vascular alongside Dr. Czajka and Dr. Prasad. Under his leadership, Oracle has grown into one of the region’s most comprehensive cardiovascular practices, offering a full spectrum of diagnostic testing, screenings and specialized care. Dr. Abdula was also instrumental in the development of the area’s first office-based procedure suite, the Oracle Procedural Suite, located on the first floor of the Fredericksburg office. There, he performs a range of minimally invasive venous procedures and implantable loop recorder placement. Widely respected by peers and patients alike, Dr. Abdula has been named a Top Doctor by Northern Virginia Magazine numerous times since beginning his practice in the region.

Dr. Abdula began his medical education abroad, earning his Doctor of Medicine in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where he also completed both his internship and residency in internal medicine. After relocating to the United States, Dr. Abdula further strengthened his clinical foundation through an observership in internal medicine at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, an affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College, now known as NewYork Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

He went on to complete his internal medicine residency at the same institution, followed by two additional years attending in the hospital’s cardiovascular research program. Motivated by a strong interest in heart health and preventative care, Dr. Abdula pursued a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at New York Methodist Hospital, where he received specialized training in advanced diagnostic techniques and non-invasive cardiac imaging.

Throughout his medical journey, Dr. Abdula has been consistently recognized for his clinical acumen, commitment to evidence-based care and compassionate bedside manner. Today, he brings a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to cardiovascular medicine, with particular expertise in non-invasive cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging and preventative strategies that support long-term heart health.

Outside of his work in cardiovascular medicine, Dr. Abdula leads a life centered around curiosity, connection and well-being. He is passionate about health and fitness, finding joy in staying active and exploring new ways to support both physical and mental wellness. A true appreciator of great food, he also enjoys discovering new cuisines and sharing meals with loved ones.

Above all, Dr. Abdula treasures time with his dear wife and two sons, who are the heart of his life outside the clinic. Whether at home or on an adventure, he values the simple, meaningful moments they share together.

A lifelong learner, Dr. Abdula enjoys engaging with a wide range of topics through reading, podcasts, and thoughtful discussion. He also finds fulfillment in teaching others and contributing to the education of both patients and peers.
