Kat Carpenter, CCRN, FNP-C

Kat is a licensed Registered Nurse and a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She worked as a nurse leader for Johns Hopkins University in Maryland for over ten years and recently decided to settle in a career at home in Fredericksburg. Kat brings a total of over thirty years of nursing experience in critical care and outpatient surgery. She is a highly respected nurse for her proven clinical judgment, nursing leadership and kindheartedness. She is passionate about delivering evidence-based, integrative care while promoting and partnering with each patient’s health and well-being journey.

Kat and her husband, who is a semi-retired general and trauma surgeon for the United States Army and private practice, call Fredericksburg home. They enjoy spending time with their children and fur babies (2 labs and 2 cats). She and her husband also love to travel and spend time enjoying all the wonder and beauty the outdoors offer.
