Meet Dr. Ana Inashvili
With a passionate desire to care for patients and train in the United States, Dr. Inashvili accepted the challenge and pursued the arduous path to move from abroad. She was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, lived in Italy, and has been in the United States now since 2011. After serving for six years as a clinical instructor of medicine and a hospitalist for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, she pursued US requirements for residency and fellowship. In addition to her board certifications in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine, Dr. Inashvili is also board certified in echocardiography, vascular cardiology and nuclear cardiology.
Dr. Inashvili brings a fresh perspective to cardiovascular care and a unique approach through the career path she has taken. In addition to her clinical expertise, she is a considerate, humble and optimistic physician who genuinely cares about each patient’s journey.
Together with her parents, husband and three sons, they now call Fredericksburg home. Dr. Inashvili speaks Georgian, Russian and some Italian.
