Electrophysiologist

Dr. Ramakota Reddy joined the Oracle Heart & Vascular team in 2025 as an electrophysiologist. Dr. Reddy is passionate about helping others feel better whether through problem intervention with a medical device or ablation or educating and reassuring patients about their diagnosis. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society.

Dr. Reddy achieved a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Iowa. He went to medical school at University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. Then, he completed an Internal Medicine Internship and Residency with the U.S. Air Force and continued his training with a Cardiology Fellowship and a Cardiac Clinical Electrophysiology Fellowship at the University of Washington.

Dr. Reddy chose a career in electrophysiology because it combines his interests and training in engineering, clinical medicine and problem solving in a way that he believes can make a genuine difference in patients’ quality of life.

Dr. Reddy enjoys utilizing the latest advancements in modern technology, such as 3D mapping, and imaging device diagnostics to diagnose complex arrhythmias for the purpose of targeted ablation or device programming. Additionally, he values reciprocal communication between physicians and patients, ensuring every individual feels their voices are heard and that they become an active participant in their own medical decisions. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Reddy enjoys spending time with family, reading, computer programming, bicycling and playing poker. After living and practicing in Oregon for over 20 years, Dr. Reddy is excited for life on the East Coast and appreciates Fredericksburg’s beautiful scenery and enjoyable climate.
