Ramakota Reddy, MD, FACC, FHRS

Dr. Ramakota Reddy joined Oracle Heart & Vascular in 2025 as a cardiac electrophysiologist. With a strong foundation in engineering, clinical medicine and advanced technology, Dr. Reddy is dedicated to improving patients’ quality of life by diagnosing and treating complex heart rhythm disorders. Whether through catheter ablation, device implantation or patient education, his goal is always the same:  to improve patient well-being while fostering a sense of empowerment in managing their cardiovascular health.

Dr. Reddy is a Fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from The University of Iowa, and went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, followed by a Cardiology Fellowship and a specialized Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at the University of Washington.

Dr. Reddy chose electrophysiology because it unites his love for clinical problem-solving and his background in engineering. He has a particular interest in using cutting-edge tools like 3D mapping systems and advanced diagnostic imaging to guide precise, targeted therapies for arrhythmias. He values open communication with his patients, aiming to ensure they feel heard, informed and involved in every decision regarding their care.

After practicing in Oregon for over 20 years, Dr. Reddy is excited to call the East Coast home. He appreciates Fredericksburg’s natural beauty and welcoming community, and is especially grateful to be closer to his daughter, who works in Northern Virginia.
